1. Position: Technical Support Associate
2. Salary: £25,000
3. Location: Brighton – office based for 4-6 months training then hybrid/remote
4. Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (37.5 hours per week, some flexibility required for out of hours support)

A values driven telecom and ISP business in Brighton is seeking a Technical Support Associate due to continued business growth. They are a small and friendly team looking for someone with a strong desire to work in technical support or 1st line helpdesk, ideally with related technical qualifications.
The business offers progression in technical support and the opportunity to undertake relevant certifications with them over time.
The Technical Support / 1st Line Support role includes:
6. 1st line technical support via phone and email, lots of work on the phone with customers logging technical queries and support tickets
7. Logging and managing support tickets
8. Troubleshooting connectivity, VoIP, and network-related issues
9. Monitoring systems and responding to service alerts to prevent outages
10. Assisting with provisioning and administration of telecoms and connectivity services
11. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
12. Maintaining accurate documentation of processes and resolutions
Skills & experience required:
13. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
14. Strong customer service skills with a confident phone manner
15. Basic network understanding (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VoIP, LAN/WAN)
16. Recent graduate (or equivalent) in a tech-related subject OR strong interest in IT/technical support
17. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
