Overview
Emma Addie, the current Director of Nursing, has been supported with her nursing leadership development and aspirations and has been promoted. The post is an exciting opportunity in the CNO Senior Team as the role fills a senior leadership position with broad scope and influence.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Practice Education Team, Medicines Management Team, Global Majority Practice Educator, and Resuscitation team, among others.
* Act as the senior point of contact for relationships with the NMC and HCPC.
* Lead CPD spending aligned to workforce objectives.
* Influence future workforce strategy across the borough and support new and blended roles with autonomy to develop those roles.
* Contribute to system-wide change and development of education strategy, drawing on prior leadership in local and national recognition.
* Support development and implementation of Trust policies and strategies across NMAHP Education, Workforce & Regulation, Safe Staffing, Professional Practice, Advanced Practice, Non-Medical Prescribing, and Professional Nurse/Midwife Advocacy.
* Provide professional management of the Patient Flow Team and collaborate with partner organisations, including potential associate honorary lecturer roles with Edge Hill University.
