Role Overview:
The Talent Set is working with a fantastic charity to recruit a Senior Communications Manager for a 6–12 month maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead on strategic communications across the UK and the Middle East, overseeing media relations, brand reputation, digital content, and crisis communications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the delivery of communications strategies for UK and Middle Eastern audiences.
2. Oversee press office operations and guide the Media & PR Manager.
3. Build media relationships and secure targeted press coverage.
4. Collaborate on integrated campaigns and brand awareness initiatives.
5. Liaise with high-profile supporters and the Royal Press Office for key events.
6. Monitor media landscapes and manage risk communications.
7. Develop and maintain crisis response plans, media statements, and protocols.
8. Coordinate cross-team crisis responses and deliver staff training as needed.
9. Manage regional social media and website content (including QCV channels).
10. Create engaging stories to showcase impact and engage key audiences.
11. Ensure consistent brand use and alignment across regional materials.
