GSL Education are searching for a skilled Design Technology Teacher to work with a school in Sheffield (S11), delivering engaging and hands-on lessons across Key Stages. As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons in areas such as product design, resistant materials, or food technology, helping students build technical knowledge and confidence in a safe and supportive workshop environment. Main Duties: Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach both practical and theory-based components safely and effectively. Encourage creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Maintain a safe, organised, and well-managed classroom or workshop. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom and workshop management skills. A commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
