In this on‑site role in Cambridge, UK, you’ll work within the Conjugation Development Platform Team of Research and Development and contribute to the development and production of antibody conjugates.
In This Role
* Perform antibody conjugations using advanced technologies and assess product quality pre‑ and post‑conjugation with analytical techniques such as HPLC, FPLC (AKTA), and spectroscopy.
* Maintain accurate records of experimental data using Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), laboratory notebooks, and Oracle ERP, ensuring adherence to SOPs and ISO9001:2015 standards.
* Contribute to process improvements and SOP development for novel technologies, supporting cross‑functional teams and ensuring effective communication across R&D and downstream operations.
Essential Requirements
* Degree in Biology, Chemistry or related discipline and 1‑2 years of industry experience.
* Strong laboratory experience in at least one of the following areas:
o Conjugation chemistry principles, literature and methodologies.
o Protein purification techniques.
o Quality control methods such as ELISA, SDS‑PAGE, Western Blot, flow cytometry, and immunocytochemistry.
* Excellent attention to detail, passion for laboratory work, and a flexible mindset to adapt to shifting priorities and customer demands.
