Role overview
As an Employment Advisor, you will work with a caseload of clients to help them overcome barriers to employment, providing support to transform their lives. You will motivate and empower clients, helping them acquire skills and confidence for secure, sustained employment. Developing strong relationships, you will encourage, motivate, and challenge clients to reach their potential while meeting your targets.
Responsibilities:
1. Meet personal performance targets and KPIs.
2. Manage a caseload, preparing clients for interviews and job searching using coaching strategies.
3. Conduct in-depth assessments to understand clients’ circumstances and barriers.
4. Develop personalized SMART action plans with tailored interventions.
5. Utilize local specialist services for support on issues like substance misuse, debt advice, or health.
6. Identify employer recruitment needs and conduct tailored pre-screens and assessments.
7. Create in-work support plans with participants and employers.
8. Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance service quality.
9. Ensure compliance with policies on data security, safeguarding, and health & safety.
10. Work from local hubs and community locations to increase accessibility.
11. Maintain a customer-focused approach and strong team collaboration.
12. Possess previous experience in a target-driven environment and delivering quality services.
13. Be IT literate, proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom, and Google tools.
14. Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
15. Experience in Welfare to Work, employability industry, or recruitment is desirable.
