My client, a leading UK manufacturer, are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join their Operations team.
This role will report to the Purchasing Supervisor, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the procurement function runs smoothly, helping to maintain stock availability, manage supplier relationships, and secure goods at the right price.
Role and Responsibility
Raise and process purchase orders, including drop shipments
Place orders with subcontract manufacturers, liaising to confirm specifications
Negotiate and follow up on order delivery dates, updating the ERP system
Maintain correct stock levels in the right locations
Respond promptly and accurately to internal enquiries
Request and compare supplier pricing
Prepare reports and supporting documents for supplier meetings
Essential skills
Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing support role
Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to build and maintain supplier relationships
Comfortable working with ERP systems
