We’re on the hunt for a talented and enthusiastic HR Advisor to join our People Services team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a chance to make a real impact, providing essential HR support and helping to build a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
You’ll be the go-to person for all things HR, from guiding managers through employee relations matters to ensuring our policies reflect best practice and UK employment law. You’ll be a true business partner, offering sound advice on performance management, leave policies, and related HR duties.

We need someone who can hit the ground running, navigate a fast-paced environment, and work across a wide range of HR duties.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Employee Relations: Guide managers through disciplinary and grievance procedures and provide expert advice to help our people grow and succeed.
* HR Administration: Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection laws.
* Training & Development: Develop and deliver training programs to foster a culture of continuous learning.
What We’re Looking For
* A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, ideally with CIPD qualification or working towards one.
* A solid understanding of UK employment law.
* Clear communication and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business.
* Strong organizational skills and effective time management.

Location & Work Arrangements
* Based out of Leyland and Skelmersdale sites; travel between sites will be required.
* Full-time, 40 hours per week, 08:30 – 17:00. Office-based. Hybrid or WFH arrangements are not available.
