Our work is values-driven, rooted in our core values of support, respect, professionalism, innovation, honesty, and accountability.As we continue to grow, we're expanding our Operations Team and are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join us. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll play a vital part in keeping our services safe, compliant, and running smoothly.You'll work closely with our Estates & Operations Manager and alongside an existing Operations Coordinator, giving the team resilience, continuity, and additional capacity.About the RoleAs an Operations Coordinator, you'll support day-to-day operational activity across our services, with a strong focus on:Health & SafetyCompliance and riskFacilities and contractor coordinationVehicle and fleet administrationOperational projects and improvementsThis is an ideal role for someone who enjoys organisation, problem-solving, and making sure the details are done properly - while knowing their work genuinely helps protect and support vulnerable people.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance, Health & Safety & RiskSupport compliance with Health & Safety legislation, fire safety regulations, and CQC requirementsAssist with risk assessments, safety audits, hazard reporting, LOLER inspections and PAT testingEnsure fire safety systems, drills, and evacuation procedures are tested, recorded, and reviewedSupport incident reporting and ensure actions and learning are followed throughContribute to business continuity planning and emergency response arrangementsFacilities & Operational ProjectsCoordinate refurbishments, repairs, maintenance, and planned worksLiaise with contractors, checking insurance, qualifications, and compliance documentationMonitor quality, progress, and Health & Safety standards on siteBudget management, spend accountability.Vehicle & Fleet ComplianceSupport fleet compliance, including MOTs, PSV checks, VED, CTA permits, and Blue Badge requirementsMaintain accurate records and ensure documentation is inspection-readyAssist with servicing, repairs, and resolving vehicle issues promptlyProduce a working rota for the driving teamAdministration, Records & ReportingMaintain accurate compliance logs, registers, and audit trailsProduce clear reports for managers and external stakeholdersFinancial budget managementCommunication, Training & SupportAct as a professional and approachable point of contact for staff and contractorsWork collaboratively with the existing Operations Coordinator to ensure consistency and resilienceSupport Health & Safety training, inductions, and awareness activityAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and confident working in a compliance-focused environment.You'll need:Strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)Excellent communication and organisational skillsExperience in compliance, Health & Safety, facilities, contractor coordination, or fleet administrationA high level of attention to detail and confidence in managing records and reportsBudget management and spend controlA full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insuranceComfort working in environments with people with disabilities in both adults and childrenDesirable (but not essential):Knowledge of CQC standardsExperience in health or social care settingsFamiliarity with LOLER, PAT testing, or statutory inspectionsHealth & Safety training (IOSH / NEBOSH) or willingness to work towards thisWhy Join Us?We offer a genuinely rewarding package, including:28 days' annual leave (rising with service)Cash-back health plan with 24/7 GP accessRetail discounts at hundreds of major brandsCycle to Work schemeStream - access earned wages earlyLife assurance after probationPension with employer contributionsA regular staff prize drawExcellent training, development, and progression opportunitiesA strong wellbeing programme and Employee Assistance ProgrammeA supportive, collaborative culture where your voice mattersAdditional InformationOccasional out-of-hours support may be requiredEnhanced DBS check required in line with our safeguarding responsibilitiesOn occasion, to support fundraising with activities and social media postsWe are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion and welcome applications from all backgrounds
