Here at Stonewater, we are looking for a Building Surveyor (internally known as Partnering Surveyor) to join a small team of surveyors. The role involves delivering responsive/void works, grounds maintenance, planned investment, and major works programmes.
You will ensure all projects are undertaken safely and in compliance with CDM regulations. The successful candidate will build and maintain long-term relationships with key supply chain partners to deliver investment programmes, major repairs, and responsive maintenance, providing a seamless service aligned with shared values. Responsibilities also include contributing to performance reports, attending reviews, investigating and resolving building defects, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be educated to HND level or possess an equivalent professional qualification in construction, housing, management, or property.
* Be personable with a strong customer focus.
* Have experience handling complaints and customer queries, and be familiar with the Housing Ombudsman’s Complaint Handling Code.
* Be computer literate with experience in housing management systems.
* Have proven experience operating long-term partnering contracts.
* Have experience delivering large-scale capital investment programmes on time and within budget across multiple locations.
* Have experience in responsive/void/service charge maintenance services.
* Understand CDM compliance thoroughly.
* Be knowledgeable about ‘Decent Homes’ standards and HHSRS.
* Be committed to continuous professional development and staying updated with legislation and best practices.
