We are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic key stage 2 cover teacher to join a mixed gender public primary school for ages 5-11 in Horley as a key stage 2 cover Teacher. In this role, you will provide cover on an ad-hoc basis, offering you the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and open doors to future long-term or permanent positions.
While the work in this school is ad-hoc, Randstad provides additional opportunities to pick up work in other local schools. This flexibility allows you to see different schools, influence the next generation, and earn money on a flexible basis.

Responsibilities:
6. Delivery of pre-planned lessons

10. Marking and providing timely, clear, and concise feedback on completed work
11. Effective classroom management and creating a positive learning atmosphere
Key requirements for key stage 2 cover teacher:
12. Valid DBS with no reprimands that prohibit working with children (we can assist with DBS application)
13. Relevant qualifications, including a degree and teaching qualifications (e.g., PGCE)
14. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, and applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcomed
15. Essential experience of teaching in a primary setting
16. Strong commitment and a positive attitude towards the role and objectives
