HW Finance are pleased to be working with a Professional Services business, in their search for a new Financial Accountant to join the team in Leeds.
About the role:
This is a varied reporting role, suitable for someone recently qualified and looking to progress their career.
Key Responsibilities:

* Be responsible for the month end close process, working closely with stakeholders across the wider team
\t
* Prepare accurate and timely weekly, monthly and annual financial statements
\t
* Own associated balance sheet reconciliations and support monthly balance sheet reporting and analysis
\t
* Deliver insightful financial analysis and commentary to support senior management
\t
* Maintain strong balance sheet control through monthly account reconciliation
\t
* Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting systems
\t
* Support the year end audit process and external auditors, to ensure a smooth reporting cycle
\t
* Ensure compliance with financial obligations and internal control standards
\t
* Work with stakeholders across Commercial and Operations teams to ensure accurate accounting
\t
* Support Commercial Finance in understanding results and the drivers to budget/forecast
About You:
\t
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
\t
* Strong management accounting/financial reporting or Audit background
\t
* High attention to detail
\t
* Strong Microsoft skills, particularly Excel
\t
* Ability to interpret large amounts of financial data
\t
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to build and manage relationships
\t
* Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills
\t
* Professional and positive approach
