Opportunity:
We have an opportunity for a Property Lead to lead on our workplace strategy within Tesco Insurance and Money Services, working with all levels of leadership.
The role:
As Property Lead, you’ll be responsible for managing our property strategy, including facilities and health & safety. Supporting strategic improvements, working with senior leaders across the business.
You’ll manage the budget and engagement with suppliers to maximise cost effectiveness and efficiency. This role also involves working with colleagues across the team to support continuous improvements in our policies, frameworks and processes.
What you’ll be doing:
•Strategy, policy and framework development.
•Acting as a business partner and managing relationships with internal customers.
•Communicating the actions needed to implement our function's strategy and business plan within the team, explaining the relationship to the broader organisation's strategy.
•Leading on property projects.
•Developing procedures, interpreting and applying policy for area of expertise to achieve specified outputs, advising the wider business on application of policy and monitoring implementation of those procedures.
•Monitoring and reviewing performance against HS&E KPIs, and patterns of behaviour within the area of responsibility; improving performance and resolving non-compliance with our HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions
•Monitoring, reviewing, and highlighting any gaps in the performance of a portfolio of suppliers to recommend and ensure delivery of improvements / renegotiating or changing contract/supplier.
•Delivering a budget for an area of the organisation or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organisation.
•Overseeing and delivering required service levels of facilities management.
•Providing the right physical environments for our colleagues as our ways of working evolve.
•Leading our approach to cost efficient and effective, environmentally minded workplaces.
We need you to have:
•Proven property management experience including budget and supplier aspects.
•Strong project management experience. PM Qualifications are advantageous.
•Robust experience of developing workplace trends and transformation.
•Stakeholder management skills, working with colleagues to create the right outcomes for all parties.
