Gas Operations Cyber Technician
Location: £46,500 to £55,500 plus up to 6% bonus and overtime
Location: Rugby
On site, 5 days a week. This role will be based out of the Rugby gas terminal and will involve regular travel to nearby operational sites. We will also consider candidates who live within approximately a 1-hour commute of Rugby.
About The Role
As a Cyber Officer, you'll provide dedicated technical expertise and support for operational technologies (OT) and cyber disciplines across Gas Transmission assets. You'll ensure the safe, secure, and efficient operation of instrumentation and control systems on terminals, compressor stations, power stations, industrial offtakes, pipelines, and AGIs within a defined geographic area of the national transmission system.
What you'll be doing
1. Deliver cyber advice and assurance in line with IEC/ISA62443 and NIS Regulations, covering cyber asset management, test laptops, BCDR, and backups.
2. Act as a technical peer reviewer for cyber-related policies, procedures, and statutory documents.
3. Provide first-line support for cyber incident response.
4. Support field teams with cyber-related OT activities to optimise asset reliability and performance.
