What's involved with this role: Temporary Caseworker x5 - Recovery Solutions Reference no: Middlesbrough 1003900614899142 Pay Rate: £14.91 per hour PAYE 35-37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 3 months City: MIDDLESBROUGH Enhanced DBS disclosure required Your role will be to work closely with magistrates and judges to consider appropriate sentencing for those in the criminal justice system who require support from substance user services. Working with clients who are due to be released from prison, you will build relationships with community services ensuring the support the client received in prison remains in place when they are released. Key Responsibilities Triaging clients coming through custody. Working with clients to help them remain engaged with agencies that can move their lives forward positively. Completing assessments. Identifying appropriate interventions, services, placements, and packages of support to meet individual needs and goals. Working evenings and weekends where appropriate to meet service needs. Working collaboratively with agencies, client, and their personal support networks to co-produce personalised plans. Supporting colleagues from other agencies where appropriate, including providing rapid response to crisis. Regularly reviewing cases and measuring outcomes, identifying, and overcoming triggers/crisis points that may lead to clients disengaging or resisting help. Recording and maintaining progression, ensuring clients are aware of their support and safety plans. Reducing involvement as clients gain sustained independence and planning safe exits from service.
