Location: Salisbury Region: Wiltshire Category: Service Vacancy Type: Permanent / Full Time Salary: £37,000 - £52,000 OTE (uncapped) Service Technician Role & Purpose As a Service Technician, you will be part of the Aftersales Team and report directly to the Service Manager. Your role is to carry out a range of workshop tasks efficiently and safely, ensuring customer satisfaction while maximising productivity and workshop utilisation. Responsibilities Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs in line with technical standards Work in accordance with all company processes and procedures Liaise directly with customers when needed Support less experienced technicians Attend regular training sessions to maintain and enhance technical skills Work as an integral member of the workshop and wider dealership team Maintain a clean, safe working environment, following all health and safety requirements Use provided protective clothing and equipment appropriately Handle waste materials and hazardous substances following company and C.O.S.H.H. guidelines Perform additional reasonable tasks that may be required occasionally Skills & Competencies Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Quick to absorb information and deliver measured responses Adaptable, with a strong work ethic High attention to detail and consistent quality of work Able to work effectively under pressure Positive response to business or market change Essential Skills & Qualifications Fluent in written and spoken English Confident computer and web user Full, clean driving licence Desirable Proven record of high-quality work Previous experience in vehicle maintenance MOT qualification Relevant technical accreditation (City & Guilds, BTEC, NVQ or similar) Experience in a franchised dealership Strong diagnostic skills Commitment to delivering excellent customer service Team Values Honesty - We communicate openly and clearly with both colleagues and customers.
