If you are an experienced EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Engineer with a strong background in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) this is a fantastic opportunity of offer. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, commissioning, and maintenance of EC&I systems within BESS projects, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop EC&I systems for BESS projects, including electrical schematics, instrumentation layouts, and control systems
Lead installation, testing, and commissioning activities of EC&I components on-site
Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of BESS into renewable power generation assets
Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and optimization of EC&I systems to maximize operational reliability
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and risk assessments
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to innovation in energy storage technologiesQualifications & Experience:
Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or related discipline
Proven experience working as an EC&I engineer within the renewables or power generation sector
Specialized experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) is essential
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA, and control systems
Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:
