Graduate Architectural Technologist required to join a friendly and growing SME architectural practice based in Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Specialising in the residential sector, our clients portfolio ranges from large-scale developments for leading PLC house builders to bespoke, high-end one-off homes. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, design-led, and technically robust projects a Graduate Architectural Technologist is sought to join their collaborative team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career Architectural Technologist looking to begin their career in a supportive and professional environment. You will gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of residential projects, working closely with senior technologists and architects.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the design and technical delivery of residential projects from concept through to completion.
Producing accurate technical drawings and models using Revit (training and development provided if required).
Assisting with planning and building regulation submissions.
Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities.
Supporting the project team with day-to-day technical tasks in line with project deadlines.About You
We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual who is eager to learn and develop their technical expertise.
Essential skills and attributes:
Degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
Proficiency in CAD software; experience in Revit is highly desirable, or willingness to learn is essential.
Strong technical understanding and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.Desirable:
Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and the residential sector.
Previous placement or work experience in a UK practice.What's on offer
Competitive salary: £24,000 - £26,000 (depending on experience).
