Eventus Legal is seeking a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with experience in residential conveyancing to join a successful team based in Sunderland, due to expansion. The successful candidate will be working with excellent administration support, great benefits including hybrid working, free parking, 27 days holiday plus Christmas Eve & Christmas closure and genuine support and commitment to progression. The role is a full‑time, permanent job position.
Role responsibilities
The incoming Residential Conveyancer will join a well‑established residential team in the law firm’s successful Sunderland office. The team have an excellent reputation and prides itself upon its ability to deliver a first‑class service to clients. This is an additional role within the team due to further expansion.
Specific duties will include:
* Managing a mixed caseload of sale, purchase and buy‑to‑let residential properties, leasehold matters, help and right‑to‑buy schemes, new‑build property purchase and sales, mortgages/re‑mortgages, shared ownership and affordable housing, and transfer of equity.
* Providing effective communication and excellent customer care to clients at each stage of their journey.
* Involvement with marketing and business development as well as maintaining relationships with current contacts and referral network.

Person specification
Applications are sought from Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licensed Conveyancers who are experienced in running their own varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
Alongside your sound experience you will work loyally and effectively as part of the team, utilising excellent interpersonal skills to interact with people at all levels, inspiring confidence in both clients and colleagues.
