Passionate SEN Teachers Exciting Opportunities in OX5, Oxfordshire
SEND Tutoring is seeking a dedicated Mentor Teacher/Tutor with QTS and experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to work face-to-face with a 5-year-old boy in Kidlington, Oxfordshire (OX5).
This is a rewarding role supporting a young learner with:-
* ASD (with significant PDA)
* ADHD
* Sensory Processing differences
* Hypermobility
Training will be provided, but prior SEN experience and an understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) would be a real advantage.
Role Details:-
* 10 hours per week (39 weeks a year – mainly term time, with some flexibility)
* Tuesday: 11:00 – 16:00 (5 hours)
* Wednesday: 12:45 – 14:45 (2 hours)
* Friday: 3 hours (flexible daytime)
* Self-employed position

* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

* Level 5 Dyslexia Accreditation with QTS is particularly encouraged
