Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our prestigious establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality to enhance guest satisfaction and optimise business performance.

Duties

* Lead and supervise all hotel departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
* Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth functioning of the hotel.
* Oversee staff recruitment, training, performance management, and development programmes.
* Maintain high standards of guest service by ensuring staff deliver personalised and professional experiences.
* Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation to meet organisational goals.
* Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork, motivation, and professional growth.
* Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to uphold the hotel's reputation.
* Coordinate with marketing teams to promote the hotel's services and maximise occupancy rates.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
* Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives.

Requirements

* Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory skills with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively.
* Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of hotel operations.
* Exceptional communication skills
* Sound knowledge of human resources practices, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Leadership qualities that inspire teams and drive continuous improvement.
* Previous experience in hospitality management systems and financial oversight is preferred.
* Experience working with the Guestline, property management system (PMS)
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional dedicated to excellence in hospitality management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
