Job description
Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, or part-time with a minimum of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.
This role is office-based.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing, building, and testing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
* Collaborating with a product development team on hardware products and security solutions.
* Creating and maintaining electronic hardware for custom security products.
* Modifying existing designs and working on new product/system designs.
* Supporting product verification, troubleshooting, and library management.
Training and development: You will receive training, external course budgets, and time for innovation and research.
About You:
* Experience in analog, digital, and microcontroller-based system design and testing.
* Understanding of product/system design and development.
* Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
* Beneficial but not essential: further qualifications, PCB design experience, RF, EMC, signal integrity, and PCB manufacturing knowledge.

Role Activities:
* Designing, developing, and documenting electronic PCB systems.
* Verifying designs and conducting peer reviews.
* Supporting products and investigating defects.
* Contributing to library parts and project planning.
