Are you a BMS Engineer looking to step up into a role focused on real-time monitoring and optimisation of building systems?
We're partnered with a leading HVAC & FM service provider seeking a BMS Data Analyst to join their cutting-edge monitoring hub. Using advanced analytics, real-time data, and smart interventions, you'll play a key role in driving energy efficiency, reducing operational risks, and supporting smart building technologies.
You'll be responsible for proactive monitoring and remote optimisation of building systems. Using data from BMS, FDD platforms, and IoT telemetry, you'll identify inefficiencies, deliver first-line interventions, and support site teams to enhance building performance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor BMS, HVAC, lighting, and IoT systems for anomalies and risks
Resolve first-stage BMS issues and escalate when needed
Analyse data to maintain optimal conditions and improve efficiency
Manage RCC service requests and ensure timely resolution
Produce reports on interventions, actions, and outcomes
Track recurring issues and support root cause analysis
Assist with IoT integration and system troubleshooting
Contribute to smart building deployments and client reporting
Essential Knowledge & Skills
Hands-on experience with BMS (Trend, Tridium Niagara, or similar)
Familiarity with FDD platforms, IoT telemetry, and energy dashboards
C&G / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
Experience monitoring/optimising BMS or HVAC systems
Understanding of energy efficiency and sustainability principles
Strong communication skills
Desirable
BMS certifications (Trend IQ Vision, Niagara Framework, etc.)
Knowledge of ISO 50001, NABERS, BREEAM, or LEED
Cybersecurity awareness for building systems
