We’re looking for someone to join our management leadership team at our prestigious hospital in Milton Keynes.
As Surgery Manager, you will be responsible for setting and maintaining world-class surgical team standards throughout the hospital. You will have the experience and gravitas to lead and support a team comprising surgery assistants, nurses, and surgeons, ensuring targets for Laser Eye Surgery and Intraocular procedures are met through effective resource utilization.
Main aspects of the role include:
1. Identifying and implementing systems to ensure world-class surgical treatments and optimal patient outcomes.
2. Motivating the surgical team to achieve clinical KPIs and treatment volume targets.
3. Supporting the team in efficient use of surgery time, maximizing surgery lists, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
4. Managing Clinical Governance and HCC systems centrally, ensuring full compliance—first time, every time.
Requirements from you:
* Experience leading a diverse and senior team, preferably in a clinical setting.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* An adaptable, flexible approach to work.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* Confidence and integrity to operate with discretion.
* Proven track record in team development.
* Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
* A hands-on, customer-centric approach.
Preferred but not essential:
Clinical experience or qualifications.
