About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you'll be instrumental in delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and monitor daily construction activities.
* Interpret and implement technical drawings and specifications.
* Set out and survey works on-site with precision.
* Manage subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
* Ensure high standards of site health, safety, environment, and quality.
* Maintain accurate site records, including a daily diary.
* Coordinate site logistics and material orders.
* Assist in site planning and produce Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Inspection Test Plans.
* Collaborate with the Project Manager and stakeholders to resolve on-site issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
* Proven setting out and surveying experience within civil engineering projects.
* Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Experience managing dimensional control and on-site quality checks.
* Previous involvement in supervising subcontractors and site operations.
* Capable of maintaining detailed progress and QA/QC documentation.
* Experience with site planning tools and documentation (ITPs, WPPs, etc.).
