We are working with a highly regarded and supportive primary school in the Borough of Islington, currently seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a pivotal role in a well-resourced school that values high standards, creativity, and inclusive practice.
The Role:
* Lead a Year 6 class with a focus on strong academic progress and SATs preparation
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Assess pupil progress effectively and maintain accurate records
* Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and contribute to whole school development
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Proven experience teaching in Upper Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Confident in preparing pupils for SATs
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Passion for raising attainment and supporting all learners
