About the role
ABC Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Supply Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Harborne from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented educator to inspire students and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons on a long-term basis.
Role:
* Long-term supply role starting September 2025
* Teaching KS3 and KS4 Food Technology
* Full-time position covering the full teaching responsibilities
* Pay scale: M1 – M6 (£30,000 – £46,525 per annum, dependent on experience)
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students
* Marking, assessment and contribution to department planning

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Food Technology Teacher you will:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Specialism in Food Technology (or a related subject)
* Proven experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
* A genuine passion for inspiring young learners
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
* a suitable qualification to teach Food Technology PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
