Our client is a privately owned, market-leading packaging solutions company serving the emergency and clean water sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Commercial Project Manager to drive increased market share across the UK.
This role will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the successful commercial delivery of projects. The successful candidate will also oversee on-site project execution, ensuring all work is delivered in line with the company’s high standards for quality, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive business growth within the UK water utility sector, while identifying and developing opportunities in allied markets for emergency water services.
* Ensure the successful delivery of projects, maintaining adherence to programme schedules, budget constraints, and required quality standards.
* Provide strong leadership and commercial management to a team of staff, working closely with the Chief Executive to support and execute strategic objectives.
* Support pre-installation phases, including tender preparation, scope development, and the creation of competitive fee proposals.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will currently be working for a well-respected organisation that provides products or services to the water or emergency water sector. They will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth, either at a regional or national level.
We will also consider candidates from outside the water sector who have experience in related environmental or manufacturing industries. In particular, those who have sold into utilities, construction, or water-related markets and have a strong understanding of procurement processes will be highly relevant.
