The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM. This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months.
Responsibilities:
1. Hold a caseload of up to 14 key clients and conduct regular key working sessions resulting in agreed SMART Support Plans which are reviewed regularly.
2. Complete comprehensive risk and needs assessments.
3. Support clients to participate in Education, Training, Employment, and Volunteering opportunities to develop their skills, assets, and aspirations.
4. Deliver one-to-one and group support within the accommodation and the local community to increase resilience.
5. Engage flexibly, reflectively, and creatively with clients, personalizing support.
6. Support clients with move-on and help them progress towards independence.
7. Involve clients in decision-making and encourage participation in the organisation's wider community activities.
8. Prepare accommodation for new clients and support their settling-in process.
9. Send daily occupancy lists to the council.
10. Perform cleaning and domestic duties within the accommodation.
11. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients, following Safeguarding and emergency procedures.
12. Manage health and safety responsibilities of the building, including regular checks.
Requirements:
1. Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and understanding related needs such as mental health and substance misuse.
2. Experience managing a caseload, conducting support plans, risk assessments, and needs assessments.
3. Effective collaborative working skills.
4. Knowledge of Health and Safety and Safeguarding procedures.
5. Understanding of professional boundaries.
6. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and databases, with good literacy and numeracy skills.
