Description You will be a registered social worker and an experienced manager who enjoys work in a fast paced environment. You will have excellent risk assessment and management skills as well as experience of working with complex safeguarding situations in multi agency environments. The team you are managing is a new service set up in recognition of the specific complexity of undertaking safeguarding with individuals who do not already have an established relationship with Adult Social Care. The Team will focus on all concerns progressed to enquiries and concerns progressed for care management where there is evidence of self neglect. We have engaged with council colleagues and key system partners (such as Housing, health, drug and alcohol and domestic abuse services) in the commissioning of this service and know that strong relationships will be formed across the system with joint working expected to be the norm where other services are involved. You will manage a team of social workers and social care practitioners who will develop strong links with key multi agency partners to provide person centred outcomes for the residents of Cornwall. You will be responsible for managing the work incoming to the team, allocating work in line with the practice quality standards as well as supervising the senior practitioner in the team and the social workers. You will attend the daily Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub meetings and will link in with triage and risk manager colleagues. Find the full Team Leader role profile here.
