Job Summary
We want someone with an in-depth understanding of the NHS, healthcare environment, and the commissioner-provider interface, to work with franchise teams on developing brand-related Market Access strategies. You will manage health economics, market access, and reimbursement strategies for prioritized products in local markets and healthcare systems, including Market Access Branded Generics and First-to-Market products.
The Market Access Manager will be responsible for commercial activities related to launching our medication in the UK, managing all phases from research to dossier submission and pricing negotiations. They will also support market launches in non-European countries.
We are looking for motivated individuals who are excellent team players but also able to work independently. Impeccable professionalism and the ability to build and maintain relationships are essential.
Your Responsibilities
* Promote products to local authorities, NHS decision-makers, and healthcare professionals
* Follow up with key decision-makers about product availability
* Identify market access opportunities, trends, and reimbursement requirements; develop strategies to overcome access barriers
* Create and deliver client presentations
* Prepare pricing and reimbursement files and support negotiations
* Identify and recommend consultants
* Prepare market access briefs for sales teams
* Support new business development with the Development and Commercial departments
* Manage relationships with KOLs, Patient, and Professional Associations
* Participate in advisory boards to provide country perspectives
* Ensure legal compliance in all market access activities
Skills Requirements
* At least 5+ years of local experience in Market Access within the healthcare industry
* Proven success in submissions to NICE
* Strong understanding of drug access and policy environment
* Knowledge of drug development processes, HTA, economic modeling, and global commercialization
* Experience in product launches and payer assessments
* Successful negotiation strategies for pricing and access
* Ability to develop value tools and handle objections
* Experience articulating RWE and HEOR requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to develop and recommend pricing and access strategies
* Strong business acumen and presentation skills
* Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and manage multiple projects
* Effective communication with opinion leaders and regulatory agencies
