Our client based in Chorley is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant.
Duties of the role include:
1. Purchase Ledger: processing invoices, dealing with supplier queries, assisting with the payment run
2. Sales Ledger: raising sales invoices, allocating payments, raising credits
3. Credit Control: chasing overdue accounts, negotiating payment terms
4. Bank reconciliations
5. Other responsibilities: CIS, Payroll, and Journals (not essential)
The ideal candidate must be a good communicator and a team player. You should have experience in a varied accounts assistant role to be considered for this position.
