Head of Sales – Energy Solutions (CHP / Battery Storage / Heat Pumps / EV) - London (Preferred) UK - £220k OTE
Location: London (Hybrid – City preferred)
UK travel required (flexible location across UK, must travel into London regularly)

Base Salary: £100,000
OTE: £160,000 – £220,000+ (Uncapped Executive Structure)
Car Allowance: £8,000
Pension: Employer contribution

Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially strategic Head of Sales to lead and scale a UK energy solutions sales function.
You will need strong domain credibility in at least one of the following:
* CHP (Combined Heat & Power)
* Battery Energy Storage (BESS)
* Heat Pumps
* EV Infrastructure
* Or Similar
The immediate commercial priority is revenue generation in CHP and distributed energy, while simultaneously building pipeline across battery storage, electrification and low-carbon heating technologies. You will operate as the senior commercial leader for the UK market.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute UK go-to-market strategy
* Lead and performance-manage specialist BDMs
* Drive aggressive revenue growth across energy technologies
* Balance short-term CHP revenue with longer-term renewables growth
* Build sales process, KPIs, commission structures and reporting frameworks
* Own forecasting accuracy and revenue visibility
* Support and lead closing of strategic, multi-million-pound energy projects
* Engage key accounts, EPCs, consultants and industrial clients at C-suite level
* Establish high-performance sales culture
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* 8–15+ years in senior sales or commercial leadership
* Proven experience building and leading high-performing sales teams
* Strong background in at least one: CHP, BESS, Heat Pumps or EV infrastructure
* Track record delivering significant revenue growth
* Experience in complex technical B2B project sales
* Strong leadership presence and strategic mindset
* Data-driven and commercially disciplined
Desirable:
* Experience scaling UK operations in a growth or scale-up environment
* Understanding of energy procurement frameworks
* Experience selling into industrial, healthcare, municipal or infrastructure sectors
