Responsibilities
* To accurately complete all reception and booking documentation and operate the hotel computer systems competently
* To ensure that phones are answered in a friendly manner
* To deal with all calls efficiently
* To maintain full up to date knowledge of the resort services and products including spa, hotel events and facilities
* To take reservations and enter bookings on the system
* To deal with all guests and visitors to the Resort in a welcoming and professional manner
* To maintain hotel procedures and fire policies
* To follow procedures for cashing up and banking
* To maintain, develop and monitor the client database
* To ensure Reception area and desk are clean and tidy at all times
* To maximise selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity
* Maintain high standard of personal appearance and hygiene including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times
* Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook including any department specific procedures
* Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures all times
* Receive customer complaints and feedback and direct them to appropriate offices for resolution
