We are writing a new and
exciting chapter in the history of The Belfry. A major expansion and renovation
project has begun at our resort, due for completion in Autumn 2025. With a
substantial investment in excess of £80 million, we are enriching our resort
including the addition of a new event space, The Masters Suite, 149 extra
bedrooms, a state-of-the-art leisure club, and much more.

The Belfry Meetings and Events:



The Meeting & Events department boasts 24
stylish event spaces capable of hosting gatherings of all sizes, from board
meetings to large weddings and corporate events. With over 120 team members, we
serve up to 800 guests simultaneously. Our experienced team ensures seamless
and successful events, from celebrity golf days to themed BBQs, creating
memorable experiences for all attendees.








Salary



The on-target earning potential for this role is a £35,283.60 annual salary, comprising a base salary of £32,616.00 supplemented by an
estimated £2,667.60 in gratuities per annum, ensuring a rewarding compensation
package.






About the
role:



This role
is 45 hours per week, from 9.30pm until 7am, 5 days out of 7. Weekend
availability is essential.



We are
seeking a reliable, hands-on Night Setup Manager to oversee all overnight event
setup operations at our conference venue. This role is essential in ensuring
our event spaces are perfectly prepared for the next day’s schedule. Working
overnight, you will manage a setup team, coordinate access for suppliers and AV
crews, and ensure high standards of presentation and safety are maintained.



Key Responsibilities:



Overnight Setup Coordination



·
Lead
and supervise the night setup team to prepare event rooms as per layout plans
and client specifications



·
Oversee
furniture placement, staging, signage, and room resets for morning events



Supplier & AV Access Management



·
Manage
access and site safety for external suppliers, AV technicians, and contractors
arriving overnight



·
Ensure
all deliveries and installations are completed safely, efficiently, and within
the allocated times



Team Management



·
Allocate
tasks and ensure performance standards are met by the setup team



·
Train
new team members on procedures and health & safety practices



·
Provide
overnight leadership and act as the main point of contact for venue-related
issues



Venue Readiness & Safety



·
Conduct
walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, correct setups, and operational readiness



·
Monitor
security protocols, fire safety compliance, and proper locking procedures at
shift end



Reporting & Handover



·
Document
completed setups and report any issues or maintenance needs



·
Provide
clear handovers to the day operations team








About you:



·
Proven
experience in event setup, venue operations, or facilities coordination



·
Strong leadership
and communication skills



·
Ability
to read and interpret floorplans and setup specifications



·
Comfortable
working night shifts and managing a physical workload



·
Basic
understanding of AV equipment setup processes is a plus



·
Health
& Safety awareness and experience managing contractors/suppliers is
desirable
