We’re looking for an International Tax Adviser to join our European Tax Team on Fixed Term basis. This role can be based in Glasgow however we will also consider other UK locations.

The role will support the regional tax management for the portfolio of countries within Europe. Working with the Senior International Tax Manager you will provide support and guidance to your regional colleagues on a variety of compliance and advisory tax issues.
What you’ll do:
6. Work with the Senior International Tax Manager with regional tax management responsibilities for the portfolio of countries within Europe, encompassing both tax compliance and tax advisory issues
7. Support the execution of the group’s transfer pricing policies, including;Managing the annual documentation requirements in conjunction with the regional tax managers and external advisersManaging the underlying legal documentation supporting those policies,Execution of the operational aspects the policy in conjunction with other internal stakeholdersCoordinating local transfer pricing outcomes with the country tax compliance process and regional tax managersProviding support and guidance to regional tax teams to manage country level transfer pricing controversyDelivering a programme of continual improvement in all transfer pricing processes and procedures
8. Manage ad hoc group and regional tax advisory projects
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
9. Qualified ICAS/ACA/ and/or CTA or equivalent
10. UK and international tax experience combined with a desire to further enhance their transfer pricing experience within a multinational group
11. Highly analytical with strong communication skills
12. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to influence a variety of stakeholders
13. Demonstrate experience of working to multiple deadlines under time pressure
14. Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised on day to day responsibilities
15. Demonstrate experience of working as part of a team
