To support this journey, we’re now seeking a commercially driven and inspirational Sales Director to take the reins of our national sales strategy and lead our next phase of growth.
The Role:
As Sales Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing commercial strategy across all major retail and e-commerce channels. Reporting directly to the UK Managing Director and sitting on the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for leading a large sales function and nurturing long-term partnerships with key customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and drive the UK sales strategy to deliver revenue, profit, and market share growth
* Lead and develop a high-performing national sales team of 6 across multiple channels
* Sit on the board of Directors, developing the UK strategy and aligning overall business strategy with a key focus on EU growth
* Build and strengthen relationships with major grocers, discounters, and independent trade partners
* Oversee customer business plans, pricing strategy, promotions, and trade investment
* Collaborate with Marketing, Category, and Supply Chain teams to ensure aligned execution
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform decision-making
* Represent the brand with professionalism, passion, and commercial excellence
About You:
* Prior experience operating at Head of Sales/Sales Director level with a progressive FMCG business
* Strong track record of delivering commercial results across major UK retail accounts
* Natural leader with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and P&L responsibility experience
* Energetic, adaptable, and resilient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
* Experience managing and mentoring large sales teams across multiple functions
* Degree-educated; MBA or equivalent commercial qualification is a plus
