Teacher of Graphics & Design Location: Swanley, Kent Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience) Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner) We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Graphics & Design to join a successful and supportive secondary school in Swanley. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through engaging and innovative lessons in Graphic Design, Creative Media, and Design Technology. The successful candidate will have the ability to nurture creativity, develop practical design skills, and encourage students to explore the ever-evolving world of visual communication and digital design. The Role Teach Graphics and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5. Deliver engaging lessons that develop students' creative, technical, and problem-solving skills. Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum requirements. Encourage students to develop confidence in design processes, visual communication, and digital technologies. Contribute to the continued success and development of the department. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Graphics, Design Technology, Graphic Communication, or a related creative subject. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
