Job Description
As the Maintenance Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
* Execute regular maintenance and troubleshooting for manufacturing machines.
* Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with safety regulations.
* Monitor, identify and rectify faults to minimise downtime.
* Coordinate with the production team to align on maintenance schedules.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
* Document all maintenance activities for future reference and analysis.
* Provide technical support to the team as needed.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and safety regulations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
* A qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship ideally)
* Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
* Sound knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
