Role responsibilities
* Planning, implementing and reviewing patient care in conjunction with the Lead Nurse, and ensuring effective communication with patients and their families.
* Maintaining the highest clinical standards and quality of care while promoting a caring and friendly environment.

St Andrews Hospice is a local leading provider of palliative and end of life care, a forward-thinking charity offering both adult and children’s services. The hospice has an excellent reputation in the local community and beyond, reaching over 800 patients and their families in North East Lincolnshire and the wider catchment area of Lincolnshire, Hull and East Yorkshire for children’s services. The organisation has 184 hospice staff, a well-equipped site and 21 charity shops to support high-quality care for patients and families.

Candidate profile and requirements
Our ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and forward-thinking with their approach to nursing. They will demonstrate post-registration experience and have an awareness of symptom management, along with a strong understanding of regulatory safeguarding and mental capacity guidance. Candidates must be able to work flexibly, as all posts are based upon an internal rota which includes days, nights and weekends.
