The Role
* Leading and managing the school’s SEND provision across KS3 and KS4
* Overseeing EHCPs, support plans, and statutory processes
* Coordinating interventions and monitoring pupil progress
* Line managing and supporting teaching assistants and support staff
* Working closely with parents, external agencies, and senior leaders
* Promoting inclusive teaching strategies across the school
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* The National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it)
* Proven experience working with pupils with SEND in a secondary setting
* Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A compassionate, proactive, and solution-focused approach
