Teaching Assistants Needed – SEN Support | Bury Area | Full-Time & Part-Time

We are a well-established supply agency working closely with a wide range of primary schools across the Bury area. Due to increased demand, we are looking to recruit multiple qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 – with a strong focus on SEN provision.
What we’re looking for:
* A recognised TA qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning)
* Proven experience working in a primary school setting
* A patient, nurturing, and resilient attitude – especially when working with children who require additional support
* A flexible and proactive approach to working in different school environments
* Availability for either full-time or part-time work
Key Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant providing SEN support, your role may include:
* Working 1:1 with pupils with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning delays
* Supporting small groups under the direction of the class teacher or SENCO
* Adapting resources and learning activities to suit individual needs
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
* Assisting with personal care and mobility needs (where required)
* Liaising with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistent care and support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
