Adult Services - Supporting Living, Poole & Bournemouth
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Supported Living Team. As Deputy Manager, you will lead and manage teams in providing support and personal care to people with physical and/or learning difficulties to live independently. You will work closely with Service Managers to manage the budget effectively, delivering value for money.
Interview Date: Week commencing 15th September, exact date to be confirmed.
Location: Discovery Court, Wallisdown Road, Poole, BH12 5AG (This role involves traveling to other locations within Dorset)
Develop and deliver services supporting individuals with various disabilities, including those with complex needs.
Maintain the primary and mental health of those supported.
Ensure services meet individual needs and support achievement of personal outcomes.
Ensure staff complete mandatory training and are active in their learning and development.
Collaborate with HR to recruit and induct new staff, improving retention rates.
Manage the service within the framework of Diverse Abilities’ policies, CQC standards, and legal requirements.
Ensure compliance with the Health & Social Care Act 2008 and CQC regulations.
Identify areas for service development and communicate proposals or concerns to Managers.
Provide person-centered planning to reflect the needs and wishes of those supported, adhering to legal frameworks and striving to meet the REACH standard in Supported Living.
Protect individuals from harm and abuse through safeguarding and escalation procedures.
Monitor service quality using KPIs through planned and unannounced visits.
Requirements:
* Full UK Manual Driving License
* Vehicle Insurance for Business Use
* Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Proficiency in numeracy, literacy, and IT
* Strong leadership skills
