Our focus is on helping businesses respond to the climate emergency by managing data, sourcing energy sustainably, and reducing carbon emissions, enabling cost control, authentic ESG disclosures, and improved business performance while progressing towards net zero.
We are seeking an Energy Compliance Consultant to join our ESG team. This is a home-based role with occasional travel to the office.
Responsibilities
* Support clients in delivering Energy Levy Exemption services.
* Analyze data related to Climate Change Agreements (CCA), Mineralogical and Metallurgical (Min Met) agreements, Energy Intensive Industries (EII) agreements, Feed-in Tariff (FiT), and Renewables Obligation (RO) payments.
* Evaluate energy and production data, identify trends, and verify accuracy.
* Develop spreadsheets to monitor and report energy consumption and CO2 performance, including bespoke formulas.
* Create clear reports for clients and internal use within tight deadlines.
* Collaborate with clients, suppliers, trade federations, and internal teams to gather relevant information.
* Maintain Evidence Packs and support clients during audits.
* Ensure refunds and service benefits are applied correctly by suppliers.
* Manage client engagement tools to ensure timely responses and satisfaction.
* Participate in meetings and liaise with HMRC regarding Climate Change Levy claims.
* Assist other service areas within the ESG team and the wider group.
* Monitor client queries, ensure timely responses, and support product development.
* Follow health and safety policies and cooperate with management to meet objectives.

* Degree in a technical field.
* Background in sustainability and energy reporting.
