Weighbridge Operator
Pay: £12.40 per hour
Shift: 07:00-17:00 Mon to Fri
The main purpose of the role is to process incoming and outgoing transactions at a weighbridge in the Sunderland area. If you have Weighbridge experience or are an excel whiz, then we want to hear from you!
Your key responsibilities:
•Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site
•Ensuring correct paperwork is completed for incoming and outgoing loads
•Checking compliance of loads according to local operating procedures
•Ensure tickets are processed in compliance with the performance framework
•Complete basic tonnage reconciliations for waste leaving and entering sites
•Report running on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
•Maintaining the traffic management system and to ensure the safe operation of the site
•Ensuring vehicle turnaround times are adhered to or report delays
•Delivering excellent customer service at all times
•Able to work across other sites when needed
