Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Orthoptist to join the Orthoptic Clyde team as a Band 6 Specialist Orthoptist on a permanent basis. This is a full time post for 37 hours per week based at the RAH in Paisley, and the role is responsible for covering Renfrewshire / Inverclyde / VOL and Argyll & Bute area. The post holder may be required to travel to these areas for clinics and may include overnight stays. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of specialist Orthoptic assessment and treatment in an autonomous role. The post holder will work at a specialist level with their own caseload, acting as a source of expertise to the wider multi disciplinary team. The post holder will have experience of working with stroke patients, motility patients, general paediatric patients and with students.
