Role Overview:
We are looking for a reliable Extrusion Operative to join our plastics recycling operation. The role involves running and monitoring extrusion machinery to produce high-quality recycled plastic materials while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and monitor plastic extrusion lines
* Set up machines and adjust settings to maintain product quality
* Carry out routine checks, basic maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
* Identify and report faults, defects, or process issues
* Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
* Record production data and complete basic documentation
* Work as part of a team to meet production targets
Requirements:
* Previous experience in extrusion, plastics, or manufacturing
* Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
* Ability to work shifts and in a fast-paced environment
* Basic mechanical awareness
* Commitment to health and safety
