ServiceNow Delivery Lead / Senior Project Manager (Contract)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Delivery Lead / Senior Project Manager to take ownership of a major ServiceNow replatforming programme within a complex, fast-paced enterprise environment.
This role requires more than general ServiceNow exposure. The successful candidate will bring hands-on replatforming or build experience, a strong understanding of ServiceNow OOTB capabilities and core modules, and the presence to lead delivery decisively across internal teams and an implementation partner.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Leadership
1. Own the end-to-end delivery of a ServiceNow replatform programme.
2. Act as the central delivery point ("glue") between:External implementation partnerInternal BAU teamsService Management stakeholders
3. Run day-to-day delivery operations including stand-ups, planning, RAID management, and status reporting.
4. Hold vendors and delivery partners to account on milestones, quality, and outcomes.
5. Manage transition, cutover, and hypercare planning.
ServiceNow Replatform Experience
6. Proven experience delivering ServiceNow replatforming or greenfield builds, ideally replacing a legacy, heavily customised platform.
7. Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and OOTB design principles, including:Configuration vs customisation decisionsImpact on maintainability and upgradeability
8. Comfortable engaging with architects and developers on platform build, not just delivery timelines.
9. Experience working across Sandbox, Development, Test, and Production environments.
ServiceNow Modules & Functional Knowledge
Strong working knowledge from an implementation and OOTB perspective, including:
10. ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
11. Service Catalogue / Request Catalogue
12. ITOM, with particular focus on Discovery
13. Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
14. Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
15. Source to Pay processes
Essential Skills & Experience
16. Extensive experience as a Delivery Lead / Senior Project Manager in complex IT programmes.
17. Demonstrable ServiceNow replatform or build delivery experience.
18. Confident, assertive leader able to challenge suppliers and drive outcomes.
19. Able to operate independently with minimal oversight.
20. Comfortable working under pressure in a busy, change-heavy environment.
21. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.
Desirable Experience
22. Azure DevOps (ADO) for delivery tracking and backlog management.
23. Experience with ITOM Discovery implementations.
24. Background in regulated environments (. energy, critical infrastructure, NIS/CAF)
