Role Overview
The Finance Manager will oversee the school’s financial operations and ensure robust, compliant financial management.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and managing annual budgets and forecasts
* Producing monthly management accounts
* Overseeing payroll, pensions, and staff contracts
* Managing fee billing, income tracking, and debtor control
* Leading procurement processes and ensuring value for money
* Liaising with auditors and preparing year-end accounts
* Ensuring compliance with charity and independent school regulations
* Managing financial reporting to governors and trustees
* Overseeing financial risk management and long-term planning
* Supervising finance staff and administrative support
