Role
At Team Healthcare we are working closely with services in the Trowbridge area who are looking for Support Workers for full time, part time and flexible working patterns.
Responsibilities
* Supporting young people and vulnerable adults within care.
* Assisting service users with personal care, safe lifting and moving, administering medication (if qualified), meal preparation and providing companionship.
* To ensure individuals maintain independence and dignity, while providing physical and emotional support.
Experience and Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications to the role
* At least 12 months experience within a care setting
* Good communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
* A passion for supporting young people and vulnerable adults
Successful applicant will be required to have
* A valid DBS certificate, or be willing to put an application through
* A right to work in the UK
* 2 years' worth of contactable references
* Appropriate training or the ability to complete necessary training
